About:
Lætitia Gorsy first came to Leipzig shortly after graduating in Visual Communication from the Strasbourg School of Art and Design (HEAR). In her own artistic practice, she published editions and books with pictures, photos, illustrations and texts. For her, these were like small, portable exhibitions in which she also involved more and more other artists, which probably signalled the beginning of her interest in curatorial work. Immediately after her studies, she was living between Strasbourg and Paris when she heard about Leipzig in 2012 and went there with little luggage for a three-month stay, which has been extended to this day. She developed curatorial projects, travelling between Germany and France, and after a while she started working as the manager of a French gallery in Leipzig's Spinnerei. She also completed the »Cultures of the Curatorial« programme at the Academy of Visual Arts (HGB Leipzig).
