In 2017, the economist founded the IoT startup Packwise to digitalise and make the logistics industry more efficient. Together with her husband, she runs the company in Dresden, which transforms physical containers into permanently trackable players in digital supply chain management.
Smart tracking of industrial containers and liquid containers digitises supply chains and enables sustainable packaging use.
Gesche is also the regional spokesperson for the startup association in the state of Saxony.
