Nils Aldag is co-founder, CEO and Managing Director of Sunfire, a leading global electrolysis company headquartered in Dresden, Germany. Nils Aldag was appointed to the CEO Group of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance by the European Commission in 2020. As a board member of the leading association Hydrogen Europe, he also helps to represent the interests of the hydrogen industry and its stakeholders and to promote hydrogen as a fuel of the future. Previously, he was active as Deputy Chairman of the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition in Brussels from 2021 to 2023. In 2019, Capital magazine selected Nils Aldag for its „Top 40 under 40“ - the most important talents shaping Germany. Since 2020, he has been one of the Young Leaders of Atlantik-Brücke e.V.
Nils Aldag studied business administration and business law at the European Business School and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He holds a German and a French passport and speaks both languages fluently.
