Swedish-American innovator Stina Ehrensvärd co-founded Yubico and created the YubiKey to give individuals simple, unbreakable protection.

Her mission-driven leadership has seen Yubico grow at 40% per year, with its keys guarding 19 of the world’s 20 largest internet companies, and has earned her the 2025 EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ and 2024 Polhem Prize accolades.

As Yubico’s Chief Evangelist and founder of the nonprofit SIROS Foundation, Stina drives passkey-ready identity wallets and donates security keys to journalists, refugees, and human-rights defenders worldwide.

Guided by the conviction that “research shows that around 90% of all breaches involve a breached password or other weak authentication method”, Stina will challenge MACHN Festival 2026 attendees to blend culture, commerce, experimentation, and community into technologies and companies that protect everyone’s digital dignity.
