„Between magic and mistrust: The psychology of AI use in everyday working life“
Maike Riedel combines a background in the humanities and social sciences with a consistently practical approach to generative AI.
She studied German language and literature, psychology and philosophy at Chemnitz University of Technology and now works as an AI coach and keynote speaker specialising in AI in companies.
With the Free Press she was responsible for digital business development and is now responsible for HR marketing and key organisational development issues.
Maike's current projects aim to turn hype into resilient practice. She shows how generative AI is changing specific workflows, from text and knowledge work to creative processes, and repeatedly poses the question of where work really becomes easier and where it only creates additional complexity.
At the same time, she advises managers who want to integrate AI into their organisation and describes her goal as follows: „Anchoring generative AI strategically, effectively and humanely.“
At MACHN26, these project experiences will flow into her workshop „Between magic and mistrust: The Psychology of AI Use in Everyday Work“, which will focus on psychological patterns, „Shadow AI“ and leadership levers for true adoption.
